Within our master program, students can profit from our close cooperation with the Università della Svizzera italiana in Switzerland.
During the course of the master studies, students are welcome to participate in our exchange program and to broad their competences by attending lectures offered at Institute of Computational Science.

 The follow-up Computational Sciences Master Study Program is a unique field of study in the Czech Republic focused on the education of experts in the field of supercomputing and exploitation of high performance computing in solving computationally demanding tasks in applied sciences as well as technology. Within the study program, students will become familiar with various architectures of the current supercomputers, learn to program parallel applications or design effective parallel algorithms. The teaching is provided by IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, a part of PRACE international research infrastructure. Thanks to this, students will have an access to one of the highest performance computers not only in our country but also in Europe. The diploma thesis topics are selected with respect to the opportunity for students to be involved in research teams' projects and participate in valuable scientific outcomes.

 Within the study program you will also gain corresponding training in the field of soft skills, be it the language training and developing the ability to work in an international team or the ability to make a presentation of achieved results in academic as well as general public. The emphasis will be placed on developing skills of interdisciplinary dialogue not only in the academic sphere.
Our graduates will find a career in the development departments of big companies as well as in small or medium sized high-tech companies. With respect to the language training the graduates will be able to work in international companies. The graduates will also have an opportunity to pursue their academic career which can be started by choosing the follow-up Computational Sciences Doctoral Study Program or some other related doctoral study programs offered by our university or other educational institutions in the Czech Republic or abroad.
